  • Thanks to all who have commented on and rated this video. There are so many great cats in shelters all over the world. There is no need to go to a breeder or "pet store" Many of the cats in this video have been adopted into what we hope are loving & forever homes. We wish them the best and continue to hold out hope for ones still waiting.Cats in this video that have been adopted: Vanilla, Blue Bell, Cobalt, Bart & Cherry, Butch, Sundance & Billy, Sunshine,Martinez,Lotus,Carmella,Sarafina,Octavia,Carlyle,Maize, and Scarlet (just went to her new home today) Gem is in a foster home. Clancy was adopted out but was so frightened in his new home without all his friends that he was returned to us and now is his happy, content self. Back with his friends in Free Range. Ophelia had to have surgery and went to a foster home where she remains to this day.  Sweet Pea was adopted out but was found by a kind gentleman on Christmas day of 2008 frozen, hungry and near death. He took her in and nursed her back to health. Only when he took her to get spayed recently did he find out she was a Quagga cat. Any attempts to contact the person who originally adopted her have proved to be unsucssesful. However she is now in the care of someone who loves her dearly and for this we are very grateful. Sadly, Beth and Tojo lost their lives to illness. It is never easy to lose one of our dear cats. Even when they are with us for only a short time. Inga was in a permanent foster home but grew quite ill. She is back with us now and being well cared for. We hope she will pull through. Thanks again to all for rating and commenting. This may not be the best video you have ever seen but it comes from the heart. The cats at Quagga are my extended family and I care deeply for their well being. I will be forever grateful to all the kind and generous souls who so freely give of their precious time to come and care for these beautiful cats.

  • You are right on how very important 'fixing' our pets is. THANK YOU for reminding people to 'shop' for a pet at animal shelters. The animals in shelters, need a new chance at life.
