Peaceful co-existence?

Peaceful co-existence

Okay, I just have a bit of a problem with this. So this guy "proves" that one particular man, highly trained and physically in top form, can "survive" in close proximity to a pride of lions.

How can this be applied to the average person living in an area where lions roam? We can't all be like this guy. In fact, very few of us can! Some people watching this will think they can be a "lion whisperer" and try to keep a big cat as a pet.

I'd really like to understand how this program will help lions.

  • I think Lobo had posted a link about this not long ago. In general, I think man should keep their nose out of contact in the WILD or in PRIVATE ownership. Leave the beasts alone. Man should concentrate on their protection and preservation, not on gaining celebrity or profit from them. I don't think I will even watch the program on animal planet.
