Minnesota tigers get TV time

http://www.startribune.com/entertainment/tv/86689917.html?elr=KArks:DCiUHc3E7_V_nDaycUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUUr

From the article: "Animal Planet wanted to do "reenactments," Thies said, including having her pet Titan and Lilly. "I said we don't go in with the tigers," she said. They are powerful enough that a single swat could kill a human being."

No kidding.

  • I would be interested in seeing that episode of Animal Planet. I suppose Titan was killed after that attack.....the animal always pays in the end.

The words Tiger and Pet should not even be in the same sentence. People will never learn. And a quote in the article said it best "People always think they can get something out of it" --the relationship that is. How selfish and self serving. I think that is right. It must feed their egos, bring them attention they crave or make them feel dominance over nature. Stupid. Might as well own a hurricane.
