  • Such a shame to dilute the two species and cause medical problems, bad teeth, bad brittle bones, hunting inabilities


     


    This is so wrong on so many different levels. Big cats also being bred with domestic breeds to create bengal cats and Ashera's which dont need to be bred and ultimately will end up with problems. The Ashera costs $20,000 to buy and is a wild animal at the end of the day.


     


    People who breed these cross species should ask themselves in their heart of hearts "who are they doing this for? themselves or the cats? " the answer won't be "The cats"it's all what THEY want to experience, see, and touch. There are NO benefits only heartache for these cross breeds.


     


    Whlist I love these mixed species I do not condone it, nor would I have wanted to see one except in an artists mind on a canvas.

I'm glad you brought out the health issues of both hybrids. You Go Girl!! You are an awesome voice for animals!!

  • I have to admit that Ligers and Tigons are beautiful, but Lions and Tigers are being forced to breed so that the owners can see the results. It is cruelty.
