She finally got brave enough to swim out to us. and when she was picked up she just kept swimming with her little paws. she never stoped until she hit dry land. Well, Now she swims all the time.

    • BUDDY

    • this is MY BUDDY I fostered Great Pyr's until they were found forever homes....... Buddy stole my heart and I adopted him Myself... Last jan. the vet told me he had to be put down... I said NO WAY... I took him to a 2nd Vet and with Vitamins, and some pain meds for a few months and lots of love he Is almost like he was in this picture at 1 yr old. He is now over 2 yrs old. I will never give up on him. Because I know he would never give up on me. When I broke my foot last yr he laid by my bedroom door all day. as if he knew I were hurt. and He was not going to let anyone near me. He is not a attack breed. They are farm working dogs. But Not my Buddy I have had him sense he was 4 months old. And He would rather keep my cat and my other dog and my pig in our yard then anything else. and if the cat goes out through the fence he will go over to the fence and lay down and wait for him to come back. He has never tried to get out of the fence, And trust me he can with ease. last week I had to ask my niegbor to keep him over his house over night. Buddy must have dug for hours the strangest thing is. I looked out my window and I saw his shadow and I thought he is not in the fence. next thing I saw him running behing my nieghbors truck. I could not get up and out of bed and to the front door fast enough. when I opened the door there stood Buddy. all covered in black dirt looking up at me. tail just wagging..... I shoock my head and brought him in.. I dont think I have ever had a better bond with any other pet. He is more like my family member... SPAY/NEUTER... when we get some of the pyrs in they are in such bad shape.... that you cant even comb thier long hair. CUT,beaten,starved.... just unreal.... GOD BLESS THESE GREAT BIG WHITE FULL OF HEART DOGS
    • RIP-This dog died without a home or a name.

    • A few days after this picture was taken, this dog ran away and got in a fight with another dog. He was injured so badly that he had to be put to sleep. Please, adopt, spay, and neuter so that we can prevent things like this from happening!
